I have been making tons of calls all week to several
insurance sales leads and cant get up with any of them. The only one I did get up with was from a month ago, and I made a small sale today. It's funny how old contacts seem to work out the best and the new leads are the hardest to sell.
I'm tired of the managers playing "Glengary Glenross" to all of the new recruits in the agency. They are all just wannabe Alex Baldwins. THey more remind me of the crooks in "Boiler Room" than anything else. By the way, if you are in the biz or thinking about it, these two movies are a must see.
Anyways I got to get back hitting the phone, it is just a numbers game. I'll try not to call out "RECO!" when I get a hot
insurance sales lead on the line.
I just really don't want to get back to calling right now, but I got bills to pay and mouths to feed.
Peace,
BLBX
